The Governing Body at St Bede’s are the strategic Catholic leaders of our High School and have a vital role to play in making sure every child gets the best possible education. At St Bede’s we believe that we are part of God’s creative process; providing the opportunity for each individual to flourish in order to serve the common good.
The guiding principles of our Catholic shared vision of life; That we are all made in the image and likeness of God, That the ultimate role model for being a full human being is the person of Jesus Christ
The Governing body meets at least once a term. We use committees to look at more detailed aspects of our work. Committees look at issues such as the curriculum, pupil welfare, attendance, admissions, health & safety, finance and premises.
Governors Register of Interest, Instrument of Governance and committee members can be accessed via the school website. Governors are volunteers and come from a range of backgrounds, bringing varied knowledge, skills and experience to the role.
