St Bede’s Catholic High School in Ormskirk is celebrating another excellent set of GCSE results.

Nationally the percentage of entries graded 7 or above was 21.6%, at St Bede’s our pupils have exceeded this with a figure of 23.8%.

An outstanding statistic is that overall, 84.3% of entries achieved grade 4 or higher compared with 67.8% nationally.

Other excellent results have been seen across the school in EBACC and foundation subject areas, this clearly shows a tremendous effort and focus from our pupils, supported by our talented teaching and support staff.

Headteacher, Dan Morgan said “We are incredibly proud of our pupils and how they have performed. I would like to congratulate all of them and wish them every success for the next steps in their journey. We know St Bede’s is a special place where relationships and community are at the heart of everything that we do. These results are testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our pupils, parents, carers, teachers and support staff. We know the school will continue to improve and will be looking to better these outcomes once again next year.”
